Memory of War Beta 1 is a display brush typeface inspired by public asphalt hand painted signs of Cuban dissidents and pro goverment officials. Each character has been individually painted vertically in black ink simulating the nature of the street writing it is based upon. It features upper and lower case characters, numerals, and punctuation including the Spanish alphabet glyphs. This font also includes special glyhps with splatters and drips textures. Eventhough its made as a display style , it is also readable in smaller font sizes.
Memory of War Beta 1 es una fuente de la familia “display brush” inspirada en los letreros publicos pintados a mano por la disidencia cubana y por agentes del oficialismo político. Cada letra ha sido pintada individualmente con tinta negra, replicando los métodos de creación y simulando las formas de los letreros en los cuales se basan. La fuente incluye mayúsculas, minúsculas, números, y también caracteres del alfabeto español. También están incluidas varias texturas de estilo `salpicadura y goteo de asfalto´. Aunque esta fuente es de la familia display, es legible en tamaño de texto pequeño.
