Gingerbread is from Victorian Display Alphabets: 100 Complete Fonts by Dan X. Solo and also on page 14 of The Solotype Catalog of 4,147 Display Typefaces.
According to Type Historian, Gingerbread was designed by Julius Herriet for the Bruce Foundry of New York in 1878.
